Gabrielle Kelly, Director of SAHMRI Wellbeing and Resilience Centre – a change agent Gabrielle ran the ground-breaking Adelaide Thinkers in Residence Program in South Australia delivering long-term benefits to the state in city design, digital media, advanced manufacturing, early childhood education and wellbeing and resilience by working with global and local leaders to drive systematic change.
Sarah Gayton, an award winning film maker in the UK - the founder and driving force behind “Farmers on Film” – a project inspired by the 2012 London Olympic Games – see the fabulous video on the conference website as we follow Sarah’s journey across the UK and into other countries, sharing with her as she encourages food producers to create their own authentic but brief films – a presentation not to be missed!
Tania Motton is currently General Manager,Regional Business Banking (RBB), ANZ – a business spanning 29 regions across Australia, with over 500 staff supporting, commercial and agribusiness customers – Tania, previously, was the dynamic Chief of Staff to ANZ CEO Mike Smith., a job which meant living and working in a number of locations including Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Thailand, Japan and the US. Her current role sees her travelling across Australia to meet with staff and customers in regional communities – what a wealth of experiences to share with us.
Pip Job – the 2014 RIRDC Rural Woman of the Year - is a landholder in Cumnock, in central west NSW, Australia and alongside her husband and two young boys manages the family’s beef cattle enterprise. A strong environmental advocate, Pip has a vision for agriculture where family farm businesses are profitable and increase the ecological wealth of the land they manage. As the proud developer of ‘Women in the Landscape’ – a program to engage rural women and provide opportunities, inspiration and a pathway for them to become more involved in their farming businesses and communities. Her challenge to us is to belong to a community of women who increase their personal resilience using a social, ecological and economic platform.
The Gala Dinner Speaker - Kris Lloyd is CEO and Head cheese maker of Woodside Cheese Wrights a specialist cheese maker of goat and cow cheeses, based in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia. In 2004 Kris established the South Australian Specialist Cheeses Association “Cheese SA” and is the founder of CheeseFest. In 2013 Kris was inducted into the Australian Business Women’s Hall of Fame. In 2012 Kris was inducted into the prestigious International Cheese Makers Guilde des Fromagers, France.

Meet the facilitator: Jeanette Long, a highly regarded facilitator and speaker, is a Director, facilitator, trainer & coach with Ag Consulting Co, which is based in South Australia and is the current President of the Australasia Pacific Extension Network. Jeanette is passionate about engaging hearts and minds in learning development and innovation.
Matt Linnegar, Chief Executive – Australian Rural Leadership Foundation. Matt brings almost 20 years in agricultural representation – including roles in irrigation, rice, and meat and livestock industries. He brings a wealth of experiences in leadership and management, including CEO National Farmers Federation, General Manager, Corporate and Customer Operations at Murrumbidgee Irrigation Limited and Executive Director, Ricegrower’s Association of Australia.
Miriam Castilla, Author of Today’s Women was a former petroleum engineer and corporate analyst. Currently, Miriam owns and operates an award winning finance business; is a mentor to young entrepreneurs and has appeared as a panelist and keynote speaker at youth and business forums at international conferences and in universities and schools. She is a Director & Facilitator of “Today’s Woman Events”.
Julia Telford, a Queenslander, hasher own consultancy business, Engage & Create Consulting. Julia is one of the 100 Women in Australian Agribusiness, and a finalist in the contribution to community category. She shares her amazing skills and experiences as a passionate rural woman.
Thomay Gatis is the Chair of Women in Super (WIS, SA), a national networking group for women in the super and finance industries. Along with a networking and professional development focus, WIS also organises the Mother’s Day Classic a national fun run/walk which has raised over $24 million for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
