Do Aussie Kids Know Where Their Meat Comes From?

A new project at the University of Adelaide is looking in to the conversations that Australian parents have with their children on the origin of their meat.

Researcher Sofia C. Zambrano R., Ph.D. is working with A/Prof. Rachel Ankeny, and Dr. Heather Bray from the Food Values Research Group at the University of Adelaide. The researchers are from the fields of philosophy, agricultural science, science communication, and psychology and their project has approval from the University of Adelaide Human Ethics Committee.

The project is underpinned by a wish to explore Australian family attitudes to meat eating and the use of animals for food production and is calling for interested people to participate by completing a short survey at the following link:
