Country Women's Associations raise funds through their networks of branches throughout the States and Territories. The work of these volunteers allows each association to distribute donations to the funds below without taking out administration fees. Many of these Associations have been continuously distributing drought relief since mid 2008. CWA of NSW's Disaster Relief Fund is used to assist Australians who have been adversely affected by a disaster - fires, floods, drought or other circumstances.

The Country Women’s Association of Victoria established an Emergency Relief fund in 1934. The donations and interest in this fund are used at times of disaster such as bushfire, flood or drought in Victoria and at times elsewhere in Australia.
SACWA provides assistance to families in need through the SACWA Emergency Aid Fund. Assistance is provided by recommendation from a social worker, rural counsellor or Association members. SACWA uses every dollar raised for this purpose as it does not take out administration costs.
